We were tasked with creating a campaign that would drive sales of Dell’s product range by keeping it top of mind within the Softcat sales offices. The campaign had to cut through the commotion of the sales floor and competition from other vendors within Softcat. Our main challenge was to overcome the Softcat Account Managers’ resistance to managing the deal registration process themselves.

We rolled out a 5-month cash in salary incentive campaign targeted at Softcat Account Managers and sales support. To raise awareness we used Softcat staff in the campaign photography and then delivered the campaign through 3 considered channels: an online portal to simplify deal registrations, digital signage across Softcat offices to keep the campaign present on the sales floor, a launch email to track engagement.

The results were impressive. 47,700% ROI achieved. 92 account managers engaged. £141K average deal value.
